A poem about my sweet grand baby Sophia....RIP Baby Girl

~ Gone So Soon ~

by Heidixoxo

The day you were born we all changed forever
Then sun was rising as with you we created memories
As I heard you cry then my tears began to roll
Now your Oma's arms and soul felt warm and full

Into my life you were now finally here
Always and forever a priceless piece of me
Left now of me is nothing but sadness and fear
In Heaven we know you can peek and it's us you'll see

Nobody can understand why so suddenly you left
For only 24 days prior you were Heaven sent
With you Sophia came so much joy into our life
In an instant we were left with grief and strife

I'll forever cherish holding you safely in my arms
Reading you stories and introducing all the stars
It was you little one who fulfilled Oma's only dreams
To go back in time with you all our time I'd freeze

So for now we all share the perfect unity
One day in time we can also have eternity
I love you beyond words my precious girl so sweet
When my life on earth is over in Heaven again we'll meet
