Thank you, Angelheart for the use of your image, "Locked behind the walls."

I have been asked if Jo's torture was from my "perverted" mind. The answer is "no" because I hate abuse of any kind. These samples are from my research on abuse and "The Orphan Trains." In fact, the burning and the lashing, are milder examples I discovered. If you are interested, the two searches I used were, "19th century child abuse," and "Orphan Train abuse." The latter was more difficult to uncover because of the spiritual philosophy of the 19th and 20th century social workers. I have gone through my "Emotional Hell" and have a firmer belief that all abusers, fe/males, should be stripped and tied over an anthill and their genitals covered with honey. It has been quite an experience for me. Man's inhumanity to man hasn't improved

To my faithful readers, Jo will be meeting Seth within a few chapters.
