My Faith Restores
by adewpearl
My faith restores me dawn by dawn as silent night gives way to song, and life, once huddled in the night, begins to stir with morning light as if the day had never gone. At times when troubles last too long and keep the cloak of darkness drawn, when sorrow has me in its sights, my faith restores. There is no place where dark belongs within a heart that hears hope's songs -- Despair shall never win the fight to wrap my world in endless night, for just as sorrow seems too strong, my faith restores. |
