Mommy Just Can't Understand

Mommy just can't understand,
They say her heart is 'torn.'
Why I was sent to Heaven,
So soon after I was born.

I wish that I could talk to her,
To help relieve her pain.
But God told me that her loss
Is His and Heaven's gain!

To show her my new angel wings,
How I fly from cloud to cloud.
and no matter what the others say,
In Heaven, pets are allowed!

Mom, I met your doggie Harley,
and your kitty cat Muffin too!
They're here to keep me company,
and tell me all about you.

I wish I could have a minute,
to feel your hugs once more.
But when you come to Heaven,
I will meet you at the door!
