Chilled Ballerinas
Outside frost-etched pane, winter’s first flakes freely fall, coating pine trees dressed for season. Sleet bounces off window. ‘Neath snow laden evergreen boughs, moonlight reflects on icy crust of nature’s wintertime mirror. Along walkway, crooked fence posts topped with ice cold caps poke playfully through scalloped drifts awaiting morn’ of new sleds.
gusty winds briskly twirl fresh- fallen hexagons chilled ballerinas
