Be careful what you wish for
magic has its trends,
The best things always come from
Mickey and his friends...

Jasmine and Pocahontas
Lady and the Tramp,
Walk into the bedroom and
rub the magic lamp.

Whoosh ...
a cloud of smoke appears,
It's the big blue gentle Genie
with a huge grin between his ears.

They gather round the crib
then on the count of three,
Recite the words that Mickey wrote
to wake up this honoree.

"Good morning Little Angel
your day has just begun,
I hope you're feeling ready
to have lots and lots of fun."

"The gang from Magic Kingdom
arranged for us to meet,
At the gate to Cypress Water Park
for a magical birthday treat."

"Come one come all
to frolic in the sun,
Let's all join and celebrate
little Aiden's turning ONE."

The Disney task was enormous
to publicize the event,
With their own unique talent
this is how it went.

Bambi colored invitations
Dumbo used the phone,
Donald quacked around the pond
Pluto wrote it on his bone.

Ariel sung under the sea
Belle sung to the castle crew,
Simba roared to Mufasa
Aladdin boarded his carpet and flew.

Cruella sent the dogs out
one-hundred-one in all,
Alice told all Wonderland
Cinderella informed the Ball

Snow White's Seven Dwarfs
Hi-hoed the forest through,
Tinker Bell, Peter and Wendy
bid Neverland a fond adieu.

So from Aladdin to Zazu
The Disney gang was here,
Aiden dawned a great big smile
the family gave a happy cheer!

The park was closed to the public
so Aiden could enjoy her birthday fuss,
Then a grand commotion stirred
as more guests danced off a bus.

Dancing the Jitterbug,
the Three Little Pigs began to flock,
Chip and Dale danced the Cha Cha
Pinocchio, the Crocodile Rock!

There was Wile E. Coyote,
Road Runner, Yosemite Sam,
Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny
Dr. Seuss with his Green Eggs and Ham.

Wait, The Lorax, The Grinch
Tom & Jerry and Mr. MaGoo,
Look who's stepping from that limo
It's Yogi and his little friend Boo-Boo.

Cartoon celebrities filled the park
as they came from all around,
Arriving in groups of twos and threes
the honored guest they will astound.

Sponge Bob with Jimney Cricket
and that big 'ol Cat in the Hat,
Scooby-Doo and Curious George
the Flintstones and Felix the Cat.

Rocky and Bullwinkle
Snoopy, Popeye and Bart,
Mighty Mouse, Clifford, The Jetsons
How did this all start?

Of course there was Fat Albert
with his great big entourage,
Charlie Brown followed them in
holding Aiden's first corsage.

Through the wrought iron gate
came Daffy with Pepe Le Pew,
Garfield, Tweety and Underdog
walked in right on cue.

Where did they all come from?
How could they all have known?
Mickey and Minnie are smiling
at the surprise they have thrown.

Mickey stood at the podium
with Aiden on his arm;
Minnie quieted the crowd
with her warm Mouseketeer charm.

"May I have your attention
may I have your attention please,
We're about to let the party begin
as long as everyone agrees?"

The crowd's voracious roar was
accompanied by drum and fife,
Lights, water slides, and spray pools
suddenly sprang to life.

The characters dispersed
for their favorite parts of the park,
Laughing and frolicking merrily
from mid-day until it turned dark.

They each spent time with Aiden
for her it was such a treat,
Her catching smile was such a joy
it made their day complete.

There was one final task
call it a last hooray,
Cinderella, Ariel and Jasmine
crowned Aiden, Princess of the Day.

But, then, of course ...

With the blink of an eye
and the shake of a stick,
The day came to an end
a great deal quicker then quick.

They all gathered together
and began to say their goodbyes,
The girls gave hugs and kisses
the guys slapped high-fives.

While they said their goodbyes
many shed a tear,
Mommy then informed the guests
"Cheer up ya'll, we're doing this again next year!"

"That's correct," Daddy said
"We are far from being through,
Plan on being at this park
when our little girl turns TWO!"

So, to everyone remember,

Laughter is timeless
Imagination is a gauge,
Dreams last forever
Happiness shows no age ...
