What will it take
To make "Thy Kingdom Come"?
Prophecy, teaching, verses on cue?
No!
Small acts of kindness,
That say "I love you":
Reflecting our maker.
His essence is love.
Don't ignore His grace
Or make light of His death,
But remember His deeds
Before He was given new life.
Miracles, healing, raising the dead,
Forgiveness and love.
Accepting the sinners
Who turned from their sin.
Making time for the one
Who wants to come in.
Who is knocking
On your church door?
Will you open
And welcome, the spiritually poor?
Can we love them and show them
That God's love is real;
As it flows from our hearts
And becomes their next meal.
