Melody Bells

Melody Bells
Ringing bells, chiming bells; sing a tune-- sounds so sweet from joyous notes were hewn. Lifting hearts with rhythmic elation; melodies bringing the senses to sedation. Ring-a-ting on this Christmas Day Ting-a-ling, ting, ting, on a sleigh Chime in with voices crisp and high, and as the bells ring--ring, we sigh. Through icy air our cherry cheeks glow from listening to the metal ting of high and low; church bells, sleigh bells, children ringing too. Carolers ringing of Christ's birth, all hope brand new. copyright December 14, 2011 donnadiann |
