Short poem about fighting through the years
Fighting
by robina1978
CLISH-clash, CLISH-clash, battling knights
Blades are clashing throughout fights Bloody traces all on soil Messy fighting this was then Cannons now, more deadly Sounding Plop-plop, Plop-plop Killing many all at once Cruel this was, still is Wars with chemicals did come Not nice , not nice at all They maimed, killed - not fast Slowly, deadly and nasty Atom-bombs were next in line Don't make sounds though Bombs destroy more YOU know? Deadly cruel, never ending After effects so long, lengthy Cruel wars never ending? STOP them NOW, for e'er and always PEACE for ALL |

Many thanks to John Mason for the photo that fits my poem so well. Written in Trochaic meter (DAdum,DAdum), no rhyme.
