Overdoing, pushing the limits of what is possible Venturing into more than we are able to handle Expecting more of ourselves than is reasonable Reaching beyond what we are able to grasp Wanting to please everyone all of the time Holding ourselves responsible for others Engaging in activities exceeding our abilities Leading the way through uncharted waters Misguided notion only we are able to do it right Elevating everything to a high level of importance Doing more than is sensible or rational for us |
