This work has reached the exceptional level
Just some thoughts

by Amyna

In the middle of the night
As I lay sleepless in my bed
Events of the past replayed
People long gone, resurrected.

Happy days of fun and laughter
All the loved ones beside me
Those were the days when I was carefree
They are long gone except in my memory.

How I long for those days
The days when everyone else around
Carried my burdens to make me happy
Not just because they were duty-bound.
