Delicate Designs Of Spring

Delicate beauty from beneath the earth
Enchants us this time of the year
Lovely adornments of blossoming hues
Ignite the warm soil and appear
Calico petals embroidered with silk
Adorn every sylvan and glen
The winter's over and our hearts rejoice
Enveloped in flowers again

Daffodil cup fringe and tulips of red
Express birth in fresh garden beds
Subtle new fragrances flow through the air
Inviting your nose to breath in
Gorgeous surroundings bring scents that are sweet
Narcissus bulbs bloom and heads spin
Silently creeping are vines of the Spring

Opulent bouquets appear where white's been
Foaming like bubbles and causing a din

Splashes of lilac and lavender pink
Parade over ground without stop
Ridding the ground from the barest of bare
In waves of new colorful POP
New found excitement now flourish unbound
Green emerald blush with dewdrops
