About learning to cope in disfunction
A chapter in the book A Guy Who Likes To Write
Behind The Chair
The little boy goes to his lair,
When all the yelling fills the air.
Behind the chair a secret land,
He in this place learns how to stand.
Behind the chair is quiet calm,
Outside chaos a distant qualm.
There many battles he must face,
But he grows stronger in this place.
Fiercely fighting he puts away his fears,
This boy's fearful mind there finally clears.
Behind the chair he found his home,
There with himself left all alone.
As time went by he was hardened so,
Now when afraid he knows where to go.
Walking the streets with his blank stare,
He's still living behind the chair.
