Broken Body bruised Shattered and used A life discarded Wholly disregarded Blackened, swollen eyes pleading Lying motionless and bleeding "Bitch, look what you made me do," he screams Savage, brutal blows crush her dying dreams |

This form is called a Etheree Poem - 10 lines beginning with (1) syllable and ending with (10). The prompt instructions were to write about feelings and I chose to write about the agony of abuse that is, unfortunately, rampant in our society today.
