A Fountain of Tears

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I have cried me A fountain of tears I gave of myself For so many years You did me wrong Then apologized Should I go? I agonized I have cried me A fountain of tears I have filled A lake with my fears Should I now go? Or should I stay? Will you be true? Or will you stray? I have cried me A fountain of tears I have decided To face my fears I’m leaving today Into a new life I no longer wish To be your wife I have cried me A fountain of tears Goodbye to you Goodbye to my fears As from today I’ll go it alone I can go forward On my own! I have cried me A fountain of tears ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ |
