An Angel Descended

Did you ever think that your destiny would be connected with a shopping cart?  Mine was.  While taking a journey through our neighborhood grocery store, I fell in love.  Yep, that is right, in a very short period of time, I fell in love.  These feelings just welled up from within my heart in a rush of emotion. 

At the check stand I was looking into the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen.  Big sea-green orbs; absolute soul mate love flowed from them into mine.  It was like a cord of communication was established between us in an instant.  An angel had descended from heaven.

As I stood there with my shopping cart, I realized the luscious mouth below those expressive eyes was softly addressing me, “…sir, would you like to check out now?”  I nodded my head and began absentmindedly setting the contents of my cart on the moving belt as I gazed at this lovely angel that was surrounded by a glowing red hallo of hair.

I noticed that she wore no wedding ring on her soft hand as she checked the articles.  I didn’t want to commit the sin of coveting someone’s wife.  I pursued,woed, persuaded; now she wears my ring.
