Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
the starting of a new world

New Beginnings

A Christian woman looks out her hovel's window
Onto a barren, lifeless landscape
Brought about by human
Gluttony, greed and violence.

Feeling lonely, she steps out for a walk,
Not expecting to meet anyone,
But she meets a Muslim man. They hug,
Not caring about differences,
Just happy to see another person.

When they finally break their embrace,
They glance at each other.
As one, they fall to their knees
Each praying to a God,
Probably the same one,
Knowing they both need help
To find the strength of will
To work together
To build a new and better world
