Guilty Comfortable

The muse is not amused

I fear she ran away

Behind the wall of numb

a heart that came undone

 

My muse was oft ignored

for static noise and safe

To fix a broken thing

I must not let it sing

 

A muse just wanted fun

a chance we mustn't take 

A mind that doesn't dwell

forgetting how we fell

 

My muse could feel so much

to feed on open wounds

It hurts so much to be

in partnership with thee

 

The muse is not amused 

I locked that bitch away

In prison for her wrongs

and still I hear her songs
