What America stands for

Liberty

by Cecilia A Heiskary

America she is the best
Better than all the rest
She has been through tough times
It's been a big upward climb

We beat the British for our liberty
Now we are a country of possibilities
In our country, all men are created equal
We don't want another sequel

Here you can be anything you want
This country is nonchalant
She was born for all men to be free
So come across the big sea

Life and liberty is what we stand for
We will stay that way for ever more
