How do you See The World

by Debi Pick Marquette

looking at life

in this big world

do you see love

or

in all the world

is it just hate

you're thinking of

but

more good you’ll find

if you believe

in God above

The last three words of each chain rhyme ~ image by Pinterest

For this week's event we are writing a THREE LINES CHAIN SUITE. You may use the events picture or your own.

THREE LINES CHAIN SUITE Composition: Three Lines with 4 syllables per line and 1 word connecting stanzas. The one word is a conjunction, see the description below.

Composition:

Write a three line poem with 4 syllables per line: 4/4/4

Use a conjunction between stanzas (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so)

Format:

Three stanzas of 4/4/4 syllables plus one conjunction

( 4/4/4 + 1 ; 4/4/4 + 1; 4/4/4 + 1 )

Joining the stanzas grammatically improves the flow.

Conjunction words join two or more phrases. For example (for, and, nor, but, or, yet; in addition you can use (because, although, as, whereas, besides, unlike, therefore, unless, since, if, after)
