A poem i wrote years back before a break up.

She loves me, She loves me not..

by Richard E. Parkison Jr

I pray this little poem,
In some way touches your heart.
Because if I ever lost you,
I would surely fall apart.

Although I messed up,
You know I didn't mean to.
As I would never do anything,
That would intentionally harm you.

I know now you're probably lonely,
And hurts deep inside.
But I know our love is stronger than this,
It's just got to be applied.

See love doesn't come easy,
And needs strength to grow.
But if we give up now,
We will never know.

You never know the true strength of our love,
Or the life we could have had in time.
After this time of refining is past,
And things get back in line.

See love always grows stronger,
When a couple shares each other's pain.
Even though times like this,
When it seems you're going insane.

But if you don't give up on our love,
And you don't just give in.
Our Love will be stronger than ever,
And we will gain so much in the end.

I know that you're hurting,
As I am hurting too.
But there's nothing in this world,
That could keep me from loving you.

I can't make you love me,
Nor am I gonna try.
Because I know love isn't worth it,
If you get it by living a lie.

I'm gonna end this poem,
Though i have one more thing to say,
And I hope you know I'm not mad at you,
As true love doesn't work that way.

But you do have a decision to make,
As hard as it may be,
And know I will support you whatever you do,
But the decision's not up to me.

Though it hurts me to say it,
Now do what you gotta do.
But know that I'm the one,
Who is truly in love with you.

There's nothing I can do,
Nothing more I can say.
Just know I truly love you,
And my love will never sway.
