The Glory of Suffering
The path to Heaven is always through hell.
Irony claws love songs; oh do pretel.
I always create a life where I need to escape.
If indecision was power I would need a cape.
Frozen and burning; lost in the found.
Praying for new life, digging for new ground.
God cleanse my bones and make me fresh
A loaf of bread with a new beating chest.
Pieces broken; sown together with SSRI's
Tears are tokens; I wish it wasn't hard to cry.
Lord sometimes I wonder if you are even there.
I hide in my subconcious; my questioning layer.
I press forth knowing that seeking is praising.
Even if I don't understand you are mine for the taking.
Crowned with thorns you are my everlasting king
Even though I'm suffering; you understand everything.
1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
