Beckoning

You beckon me

with sweetness.

You draw me in with love.

You call me tenderly,

whispering my name -

the name that You have

given me, the name

spoken by You only,

the name I always

answer to, the one

that brings me to

the deep place,

where peace lives,

where knowledge and

wisdom are born,

where comfort nurtures

my heart and softens

all the hard edges.

You embrace me

like a soft, puffy cloud -

a pillow to rest

my weariness.

Your love is surrounding

me in a sacred place,

a holy place,

where I am alive

and strong.

You are calling me

to where You are -

for where You are

is my home -

the place where

I am cherished

and loved,

by Love itself.
