So wrong, but felt so right.

Standing there looking so right,

for all the wrong reasons.

I guess every bad decision,

has a perfect season.

A lustful aching deep within

that moment she looked into the devil's eyes.

Making excuses for his most heinous sins,

Falling in love with evil masked in a gorgeous disguise.

Wanting to feel the fire and the flames,

not wanting her time with him lost.

Yet knowing that something that felt so good,

Must surely come with a cost.

Temptation overwhelmed her

to the very depths of her soul.

She knew from the moment she felt the heat,

She'd lost all sense and control.

Yet years after the flames turn to ash,

and the scars he left still run deep.

The hardest temptation she ever encountered,

left her with nothing but secrets to keep.

She looks back on her life,

and memories spent in their secret place.

She says out loud "I hate him".

a slight smile upon her face.
