Her Hand

by jim vecchio

I reach for a hand that’s not there
Thinking, Lord, of her special touch
I miss her, Lord, and love her so
And wish I could have left with her

Though there’s still much for me to do
I reach for a hand that’s not there
Knowing that she lives in your home
I stand bereft now, all alone

God of my Heart, Lord of my Soul
Though she is gone, my Love’s alive
I reach for a hand that’s not there
Remind her, Lord, of my great Love

All good things are a gift from Thee

And love doth last eternally

And in your time, nevermore will

I reach for a hand that’s not there
