Thank you for the invitation to your graduation, and congratulations on finishing high school. That’s the good news—no more high school.

Here’s the bad news: you've got a hell of a lot more to do.

Since I never met you, I don’t know if you have the musical talent your grandfather did. But if you do, pursue it.

If you don’t have that ability or any other special talent, I’ll share with you the key to success.

HARD WORK.

To illustrate the point, the enclosed check is from someone who applied the key to his life.

Now, put it all together. Success in life comes from hard work, and it starts with effort. Don’t fuck it up.
