There were two lumberjacks
One was named Frank
And logs they could really stack
The other was named Hank
One lived in a cabin
the other in a shack
They needed help with their work
So, they took out an ad
Doo Dah answered, but with a smirk
He was a little lax, but all they had
And work, he liked to shirk
They hired him, and he was glad
Doo Dah had a family
And the work was dangerous
This made Frank and Hank
A little delirious
Though work had to be done
No matter how perilous
So, the first day on the job
Someone yelled timber
The tree fell on Doo Dah
Creating quite the blob
How this happened
The men could not remember
How could they tell his wife
That Doo Dah just lost his life
Well Frank had a guitar you see
Hank had a banjo and sang with glee
They went to Doo Dah's home
And hid behind a tree
They knocked at the door and hid
When Doo Dahs wife answered the door
They belted out a song to let her know
Doo Dah was no more
They sang, we know someone got
Killed in the woods today
Doo Dah, Doo Dah,
Someone got killed in the woods today
Doo Dah, Doo Dah…
