Chapter 31 Mothers' Day
I have notes for four possible subjects to write about for this week's reminiscing post, but I'm going rogue and writing about Mothers' Day.
First, I wrote about the three ladies who have influenced my life but ended up trashing that post too.
I'll mention those three ladies. My two grandmas. These two ladies taught me to love the Lord. Both loved the Lord and taught me to pray through all situations. They impressed upon me that there wasn't anything God couldn't handle.
My dad's mom was a little spitfire. She was probably less than five feet tall, and I doubt she weighed over a hundred pounds, but this lady was one tough lady. I have Grandma's strength.
My mom's mom was quiet, reserved, and soft-spoken. I watched her control situations by simply being present and being the quiet voice of reason. From Grandma I've learned at times it's best to keep my mouth shut.
My mom is ninety-three years old and is my best friend. We live sixteen hours apart but talk almost daily. When things bother me, I call her. She never gives me a solution but listens and allows me to work it out myself, simply by allowing me to talk it out as she asks a few questions. That listening is a true talent. I need to work on that.
I'd be very neglectful if I stopped here. I have numerous strong and influential ladies in my life who support me. My women's church group, the ladies at my gym, the ladies on FanStory.
My FanStory ladies! Each one of you supports me and validates me every time we interact. Whether it's through PMs, reviews, or prayers. I value each one of your friendships. I feel we don't acknowledge each other often enough. I would call you out by name, but I'm afraid I'd forget someone. That wouldn't be right. Each one of you is very important to me.
THANK YOU FOR BEING IN MY LIFE AND CONTRIBUTING TO WHO I'VE BECOME TODAY!!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!
I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there, but also to all women because, I'm sure in some way you've impacted a life. Thank you.

Thank you, Google Images, for a photo of flowers.
MEN, I haven't forgotten you. For Father's Day I have another post planned.
This post is a little over 300 words.
I do not edit these as much as I do my novels. You'll find many errors. I do edit about three times, but that's not nearly enough. I just posted this and have already corrected many mistakes. I'm sure there's more.
