A Poem About a Car Show.
Relaxing at the Car Show
Oh, how I love being at the car show
Listening to the1960s and 1970s music
Just makes my heart glow
I’ll wander over and look at the ol’ Buick
I’m sure he’ll win his class
For best of show
My favorites are always the Mopar’s
The muscle of the 1970s
Now those were some real fun cars
Challengers, Super Bees, Roadrunners
Cudas, Coronets, and Chargers
Those were some real stunners
There are always
The Corvettes, Novas, and a Chevelle
Even some Ford Mustangs
Maybe a 302 Boss
If there are no Studebakers
That’s no one’s loss
I’m just relaxing at the car show
Basking in the Florida sun
Where I go next, I do not know
The car show is just so much fun
Maybe I win best of show
If not, I gave it a good run
