Realization

We wheeled our cases into the airport building then had to sit down for awhile to catch our breath as we were exhausted, well what with Alf's Gammy leg and my dodgy hip and we certainly weren't getting any younger. What a pair we must have looked, both puffing and panting.

Thank goodness we'd allowed plenty of time to go through all the checking in paraphernalia and queing to board the plane etc. When I'd got my breath back I turned to Alf and said, "Maybe you were right after all, perhaps a mountain climbing holiday was not the perfect choice for us."
