Squint or almost close your eyes to see Jesus in the picture

I See Jesus in my Life

by Debi Pick Marquette

Was baptized when my life began, I grew up on God's word and plan

I knew Jesus, the Son of man; He loved me like nobody can

But as a teen, I could not win, I carried so much shame within

My church called everything a sin; I no longer let Jesus in

I woke up and my passion's wild, and once again my heart had smiled

I came back to Him like a child, and with Jesus was reconciled

The Helper that Jesus would send; the Holy Ghost was still my friend

And will be 'till the very end; my conscience finally would mend

At one time my price He would pay, for gratitude I always pray

For joy and happiness each day, I know there is no better way

And I will never go back there, to that dark place of deep despair

So, please Lord keep my soul aware, of how I need to stay in Prayer

No more will I hear satan's lies or hear him try to scrutinize

I will not ever compromise, 'cause my eyes are on Heaven's prize

Squint to see Jesus in the picture. If you can't see it, move the picture up and down fast and concentrate on the bottom of the table is his beard or the black car is one of his eyes, and then it should appear to you.

* Couplet: A two-line stanza.
* Octameter: Each line has 16 syllables (eight metrical feet).
* Perfect Rhyme (AAAA): Both lines share the same rhyme.
