Colorful World

I’ll write down the beauty of where I’ve just been.

The colors are vivid, need more than a pen.

The shrubs and the trees are now blue to my eyes.

The red pond’s reflecting the green of the skies.

It’s from the red pond that blue elephants drink.

Along comes a gator who’s polkadot pink.

Those purple bananas, mauve monkeys will eat.

That turquoise-brown wool’s from the lambs you hear bleat.
