This work has reached the exceptional level
Pretending X 2

Public Face/Private Face

To your face,
she praises you;
Behind your back,
she schemes.
 
Should you ever 
win first place,
You'll ruin
all her dreams.
 
She is not a friend of yours;
that's just a role she plays.
I have  the Email proof of this,
the real-life words she says.
 
"Revenge: a dish that's best served cold,"
she wrote with you in mind.
And even though you've been informed,
you act like you don't mind.
 
So, live like you're oblivious
and soak up all her lies;
But way deep down, you know what's true:
Betrayal - her first prize.
