What should have been a happy ending
The Dress
It’s a symbol of hope
Of as yet…unanswered dreams
Of the promise of lives lived as one
Of a love meant to last a lifetime
But it mocks me now
As I look at its beauty
My heart ripped by
Infidelity
Lies
And
Lust
It’s unspoken promise
SHATTERED
