My day is full of decisions

And in fixing divisions

They say I have limited time

To get everyone in line.

Crazy things are said

and worse things are read

Is there any reason anymore?

There is madness at my door.

But when I am home with you

There is nothing more beautiful

Than for me to subdue

and slow dance with you.

As far as dancing goes

I am the one to stand on your toes

But you never complain

About your obvious pain.

While the world takes a turn

And many wish it to burn

I follow your view

and slow dance with you.

Reality is our wake up call

And despite us having to leave the ball

It is all okay to feel a little blue

Because I can come back and slow dance with you.
