What makes a monster, a monster?
User: @Monster
He scrolls through a feed of his own face-
pixels stretched thin, orange as a warning label.
His tongue? A hashtag algorithm:
#Winning #FakeNews #AloneAgainstTheWolves.
No conscience-just bandwidth.
Empathy’s a buffering wheel.
He rage-tweets orphans to sell his sneakers,
then posts a prayer hands emoji.
A cult leader in a too-long tie,
he preaches to the reply guys, the 2 a.m. conspiracists:
“They laugh at you, but I’m your mirror-
see how bigly I glow?”
Truth’s a deepfake he edits on the fly.
Lies are thumbtacks he throws at the map,
claims every wound is someone else’s blood.
Accountability? There's beta profiles for that.
He licks the grease from fried applause,
chews the bones of the gullible,
spits out lawsuits like apple seeds.
“Only losers need receipts.”
But here’s the glitch:
His reflection’s a black screen.
No soul, just a looped clip of a man
clapping for himself in an empty boardroom.
Monsters aren’t born with scales or claws-
they’re coded in the swipe-up culture,
the Subscribe to rage,
the viral need to be adored by ghosts.
What makes a monster?
A man who sees the world as a comment section
and deletes every “you” but “I.”
