50 word funny story for the contest
When You Fail High School French
by June Sargent

So, someone buried his aunt near the river?
He said, “J’ai plante ma tante pres de la rivière.”
Perhaps, he said,
“J’ai plante ma tente pres de la rivière?”
What’s the difference?
“La tante” means aunt. “La tente” means tent.
Sorry we destroyed his tent - looking for - his aunt!
Funny 50 Word Story contest entry
tante and tente are homonyms- they sound similar in French.
