Detective Brady tries to solve the case of a serial kille

The Kirby Case - Part 7

by Pamusart

Another woman has been killed,

her body dumped in Kirby’s field.

She also has a fake I.D.,

and facial search of her they see.

———————————

These cases must be intertwined.

The motive though escapes the mind.

The lipstick heart that’s on her chest,

a perfect match to all the rest.

———————————

The other victims’ cases stall.

The teams’ resources give their all.

But, catching him should be their goal.

Each one of them must have a role.

———————————

So Mike gives orders to the teams

to concentrate on their routines.

He puts new men on case that’s new

in hopes they’ll find a bigger clue.

———————————

But victim four is not left out.

Her fam’ly’s told, they cry and shout.

From drag marks they can guess his height.

This latest girl put up a fight.

———————————

She clawed with nails that scratched his face.

The D.N.A’s their saving grace.

Some people saw him at her home,

and like the rest, she lived alone.

———————————

There’s now a sketch to show around

in hopes this killer can be found.

The friends of all the other girls

give evidence that now unfurls.

———————————

They all have stated he’s the guy.

They make arrests, the suspect lies.

The lineups made have all produced.

The suspect pool has been reduced.
