Christmas lights
Christmas Lights
Lights
Attacking and making each home their own
Shining the season's feelings and mirth
Lights
Electricity speeding through red, green, blue and white bulbs
Been around since I was born
I'm transported to the back of the old car when we used to peruse the neighborhood in search of that one house that really went all out, the one that's really into it this year, the one that resides still in the back of my mind, resembling christmas magic
Lights, shining from my eyes and blanketing the world with christmas warmth, family gatherings, candles, laughter and wine
Lights, Santa's dropping by tonight, we left him snacks for his long night, I must sleep or he won't arrive, I must sleep
But how can I, the lights outside shine so bright, I can't spend a moment away from the excitment that they inspire within my childlike soul
Lights, oh God, I still love the lights
