Misfit
by BlueMarble

Today isn't the best day Jimmy mused while staring out the window at the gray clouds gathering over the fields. Maybe Mom is right and I really am just too young to run away. I suppose I could wait, but how much more can I take from being such a misfit? Mom would probably just tell me to keep being me, and try harder.
I think when I go to bed tonight, I will ask God. He always answers my prayers.

Yup, that's what I will do. I'll ask God.
When bedtime came that night that is exactly what young Jimmy did. He knelt beside his bed and prayed to God for the help and advice he needed.
God gave the answer to him in the dreams he sent that night.

"Running away has never solved a problem. I created you to be just the way you are. Trust me."
