I have been writing for sometime, but until now I did a lot of it in seclusion. Glad for the information that led me here. I love this literary outlet to express the deep things of the heart....and the not so deep!

Exceptional

This work has reached the exceptional level

A poem

The lion and the calf

The lion and the calf

We can't control our flow of life
nor can dictate its course.
We have to wait for winds that change
and run with histr'y's source.
Yet we can move within its stream
according to God's plan.
For faith impresses God I know
impossible its span.

And though we may not know life's path
we have faith's rulership.
And we can walk in Christ's footprints,
from wisdom's cup we'll sip.
I pray that God anoints my lips
to speak on his behalf.
I see beyond this troubled world
the lion and the calf.
