Remove one petal at a time

He loves me,he loves me not

He loves me, he loves me not.

Something I learned when I was a tot.

I would pick buttercups in the garden at home. 

That’s what inspired me to write this poem.

 I would remove one petal at a time.

While reciting this little rhyme.

He loves me, he loves me not.  
Something I learned when I was a tot.
