Finding my Inner Peace

by Debi Pick Marquette

To find my inner peace within

I try to stay away from sin

I'm comfortable in my skin

With love of family or kin

With God I find my inner peace

Each day I feel His love increase

His love for us will never cease

And praising Him's a great release

When there’s no inner peace at all

You feel there's no one left to call

When dreams end at a big brick wall

And leaves you feeling very small

With inner peace you feel alive

That's when it's easier to thrive

You're energetic with more drive

And you know then you will survive

Recognized

Comfortable has been known to have 3 or 4 syllables, depending on how you say it.
But in my poem it is 4.
