Night gently falls

                                                     ***

Peacefully resting on that old bench, bathed in dappled light,

Quietly she sits, enjoys nature’s whispered sounds and sights,

Reflecting on life’s memories, heartfelt thoughts clasped tight…

Spirit now soothed, steady, and calm, she’s strong; she awaits her coming night...

Twilight tiptoes in and fades – and she softly sighs.
