A poem about the aversion to love

Love is in the air

As goes my heart
So goes my soul
The path unknown
and ever winding

The light of my feet
Ne'er scorched by love's heat
A bond to one's self unbinding

When my heart starts to flutter
My mind starts to shutter
At the thought of becoming embraced

With one single slip
Or a touch of a lip
My autonomy will be erased
