The worst night of my life

Back in the day I worked as a travel rep for a company in England called 18-30's.
I worked mainly on the Greek Islands. I escorted young people on trips and organised competitions etc. at the hotels where they stayed.

One night while working in Rhodes I took a party on a coach to a barbecue and disco. It was a very boozy night. At about 2.00a.m. they all piled on the coach for our return to the hotel, all worse for wear.
As the driver began our return journey to the hotel I did a head count only to find that there was one boy missing. I immediately got the driver to turn the coach around and go back. To my horror the boy was lying in the road obviously hit by a car.
He was dead.
His name was Tom Rhodes.
