100 word time travel conundrum
Sins Of The Father
by Gary Rubidge
Time is linear, so they say. I learnt that’s not always true. Time can be bent back upon itself so that you can alter the past.
Just imagine? To be able to change all those mistakes you made.
I did this.
I was told my father was not my true father. He wasn’t a good man. He beat my mother, terrorized people and murdered innocents as only a traumatized soldier could.
They say he did not deserve to live so I chose to erase him from history.
Turns out that he was my father.
My mother lied.
I never existed.
