A Final Journal Entry

The Last Christmas

by Videl Sky

December 25th, 3666

  • cut firewood
  • reinforce the fence
  • food & water run (more alcohol?)
  • celebrate! break out the peanut butter & crackers!

Done! (I’ll admit, I was lazy and skipped to the fourth step.) But it’s cold and it’s a holiday – I should get a break!

got drunk and all I could think about was my wife and my daughter and how they died screaming for me to save them, I couldn’t save them I’m useless

I wonder sometimes how much longer I’ll last, now that it’s winter

Eh, who knows, maybe it’ll be alright! It's Christmas after all!
