2D Acrostic Challenge #2 contest entry
Repose - a state of rest, sleep, or tranquility
I learned this format from fellow fanstorian HarambeForPresident in his poem Red Dawn. One thing I definitely learned from trying to do one is, never chose a word with a X in it. I originally tried to start with the word "relax". I scrapped that after several tries and chose "repose" instead.
This poem is a 2D Acrostic. Like any Acrostic Poem the first letter of each line spells out the title word vertically. But a 2D Acrostic also contains the word horizontally. In addition, all lines contain the title word in some scrambled manner, both horizontally and vertically. So the poet should list the sequences they used, so that the word can be determined in each direction, and matched back to the poem's text itself.
All lines contain the word Repose in my poem in some scrambled manner, both horizontally and vertically. Here are my sequences: So I spaced the out so you can read down as well.
