Shadow of Christ

Some things in life I cannot understand
How small I am in this strange vast world
And wisdom and knowledge are fickle friends
Delightfully keeping me in the dark
Only the source of true wisdom I find
When I gaze upon His glorious face

On gossamer wings I now view the world
For now I can loose the bonds of this earth

Christ leads my way, He's my truth and my life
He helps me soar and leave worries behind
Rejoicing in Him, with no thought of me
Is when I find life breathtakingly free
So now that I've given my all to Him
The Shadow of Christ is where I am bound
